The climb to Neelkanth, the river bends towards Byasi, Kunjapuri before sunrise — none of it is much fun from the back of a cab. So we keep highway motorcycles for the long hill runs and light, easy scooties for everything around town. Every vehicle goes out serviced, papers stay in the bike and helmets come with the ride — you tell us the dates, we tell you the price, and that is the price you pay at the end.
Five years of running bikes out of Rishikesh, as a tour operator and a rental agency across Uttarakhand.
Rishikesh is a small town with very good roads leaving it in every direction. These are the rides our bikes go out on most.
Every one of these starts at our counter in Rishikesh.
The main bathing ghat. Come at dusk for the Ganga aarti — lamps on the water, bells, and a crowd that goes quiet all at once.
Two suspension bridges over the Ganga, with cafes and markets on either side. Park up and walk across — bikes are not allowed on them.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s abandoned ashram, now covered in graffiti. Quiet, strange, and very photogenic.
A short ride out and a short climb up. Three tiers of falls with a pool at the top that is cold enough to wake you up properly.
The rafting stretch, with camps all along the river. The ride there follows the Ganga most of the way — that is half the reason to go.
Elephants, deer and a long list of birds. Check the gate timings before you set off — the park closes through the monsoon.
Leave by 4 AM and you are on the hilltop for sunrise over the Himalayas. The best road around Rishikesh, and it is not close.
Tell us your dates and where you are staying. We confirm the vehicle on the call itself — no forms, no waiting at the counter.
Please read these before you book. We would rather explain everything now than argue about it later.
Read this one Any damage to the vehicle or helmet is paid for by the renter, and repairs are carried out only at an authorised service centre.

The things riders ask us on the phone every day. Anything else — just call.
Your driving licence and your Aadhaar card. Originals are fine, and so are the digital copies in DigiLocker or mParivahan — those count as valid documents. Plain photocopies or photos saved in your gallery do not. Not sure whether yours will work? Call us before you come.
The rent covers a 30 km radius from our office. You can go beyond that too — extra rent applies depending on your destination, and we tell you the exact amount on the call. The vehicle has to stay inside Uttarakhand though, because two-wheelers here carry an Uttarakhand-only permit. Rates for each vehicle are listed above.
From our office at C/o Gupta Crockery, Old 547, New 679, Bankhandi, Hiralal Marg, Rishikesh — 300 metres from Rishikesh railway station and 800 metres from Triveni Ghat, and easy to reach by any local transport from anywhere in town. Open it in Google Maps.
Yes. We drop the vehicle at your hotel or wherever you are staying. Delivery is free within 3 km of our office; beyond that a small charge applies, which we will tell you on the call.
Yes, you can ride to any of the dhams — it just costs more, depending on how far you are going. Book ahead as well: long temple runs need a vehicle that has been serviced for the distance, and we cannot promise the right one at short notice.
Scooties start at ₹500 a day and motorcycles go up from there, depending on the model. Every vehicle we have, with its daily rate, is listed above — no separate price list to hunt for.
No. Fuel is on you. The tank goes out with just enough to get you to the nearest petrol pump, so fill up before you head out of town.
Yes, as long as the vehicle is actually registered for rental. Check the number plate — a commercially registered rental vehicle in Uttarakhand carries a yellow number plate with black lettering. Every vehicle at Strawbell does.
